Outpatient Expansion, St Elizabeth Hospice

Ingleton Wood have worked with St Elizabeth Hospice and their management and estates team for a number of years completing various extension and refurbishment schemes.

This latest project started with our assisting St Elizabeth Hospice to make an application for funding to Help the Hospices. Following the successful award of funds, Ingleton Wood provided a complete service across all disciplines from initial options appraisal through detailed design, project procurement, followed by project management and contract administration up to completion.

We are extremely proud of our association with St Elizabeth Hospice and the fantastic work they carry out in and around Ipswich and south Suffolk.

This new facility provides a physiotherapy area and a new large outpatients lounge. This lounge area incorporates activities space and social space with sliding folding doors opening out to the hospices central courtyard. The scheme introduces a new entrance area to day services which provides access to both the new facilities and the existing refurbished portion of the former day centre.

To the first floor much needed administration space has been provided within the roof consisting of both office and open plan accommodation.

This new facility was extremely well received when opened by the Chairman of the Hospice at an evening function where local dignitaries were treated to a tour.
