Tech Campus, Suffolk New College

Suffolk New College secured Local Enterprise Partnership funding to construct a new building to deliver their specialist courses in Creative Media Production, Computing and E-Sports, Games Design and Game Arts. Shortly after planning permission was obtained by the College, Ingleton Wood were appointed
to provide Project Management (PM) and Employers Agent (EA) services and oversee the design and construction stages of the Design and Build contract. 

In their PM / EA role, Ingleton Wood coordinated all consultant appointments, were responsible for all client reporting, programme management, and risk management. Key issues during construction revolved around known risks such as the severely restricted site and the tight construction programme, and then ultimately supply chain issues, resulting in the need to work very closely with the College and the Contractor to manage the programme and stakeholder expectations.

The project was required to achieve a BREEAM Very Good rating. Ingleton Wood were also appointed to provide Mechanical and Electrical Engineering services, BREEAM services, and CDM Advisor services.
