Ingleton Wood were appointed by the estates team to design and project manage the first urban search and rescue development in the country.
An initiative funded by central Government, the development enables quick response times to an incident following a terrorist attack in an appropriate manner, with the necessary equipment readily at hand.
The facility has 4 prime movers, training facilities and building for training purposes including gymnasium, lecture room, kitchen and space for maintaining plant and changing/showering facilities.
The development was constructed on a contaminated site and overseen by our multidisciplinary team from inception to completion and includes wind turbine and solar heating equipment.
Ingleton Wood provided full architectural design services, project management, M&E design, quantity surveying, CDM, and engineering services.
